If you are concerned about a child in Walsall or need some advice about Early Help you can contact us:

Any parents, professionals or members of the public can contact the Solihull Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) by calling through to 0121 788 4300, where they will be answered by the Integrated Front Door Business Support Team.

Safeguarding and Support, Children with Disability and Families Together Team

A new line has been set up for Parents and Professionals where children are open to the Safeguarding and Support Team, Children with Disabilities Team and Families Together Team. The new number is 0121 788 4210, calls will be answered by the Safeguarding Business Support Team.

Family Helpline

Solihull have launched a Family Helpline to support families and the people around them. You can now call 0121 788 4327 for advice, information, strategies & support on things like:

  • Parenting support

  • Family conflict particularly because of difficulties managing children’s behaviours

  • Parents/carers needing support if they are struggling to get their child/ren into school and getting in trouble because of this

  • Parents/carers struggling to manage their child’s health, developmental or social needs (including mental health)

The team can offer:

  • Signposting to services and what’s on offer at the Family Hubs

  • Referral to a Family Support Worker

  • Advice and Support on the wider Early Help offer & how this works
